The Relationship Manifesto

Why Let's Get Coffee exists

Seven beliefs about relationships, and the product they add up to.

  1. 01

    Relationships shape everything

Our health, our happiness, our careers, our communities. The research is unambiguous, and so is lived experience: the quality of our lives rises and falls with the quality of our relationships.

  2. 02

    Trust comes first

Nothing good grows without it. People should always feel safe, respected, and in control: who sees what, who gets notified, what can be undone. Never manipulated, never exposed, never pressured.

  3. 03

    Joy matters

Meeting someone new should feel like a small gift, not a task. Warmth, belonging, and the celebration of human moments belong in software as much as they belong in a coffee shop.

  4. 04

Social capital is built through generosity

The strongest communities run on people who give first: introductions, attention, help. Generosity compounds into trust, trust into relationships, and relationships into opportunity.

  5. 05

    Conversations are where relationships begin

A conversation is an event. A relationship is what grows across many of them. So the second conversation matters as much as the first, and the tenth more than either.

  6. 06

    Reflection makes relationships stronger

Every conversation teaches us something, if we pause to notice. Remembering what matters to someone is one of the most caring things a person can do.

  7. 07

Technology should make us more human, not less

AI should help people become better at relationships, never replace them. Memory should be intentional. Consent should be the default. And no tool should ever make a person feel watched, scored, or ranked.

The product these beliefs add up to

Let's Get Coffee started as a way to help people meet.

It is becoming something larger: relationship infrastructure that helps people create trust, joy, and social capital through thoughtful introductions and real conversations.

And because great relationships are built across many conversations, we are building a Relationship Coach: a private coach that helps you remember what matters, reflect, follow up, and grow into better relationships over time.

Stronger relationships build stronger communities. That is the whole idea.
